Hunger Action Month
Join ACFS as we take action against hunger in our community.
Hunger Action Month is a nationwide effort to raise awareness about food insecurity and encourage communities to take action. At ACFS, that mission connects directly to the work we do every day serving children and families across Central Alabama.
Fighting hunger is at the heart of what we do.
ACFS provides dependable food support to children and families facing food insecurity while bringing our community together to serve with compassion and share the hope of the gospel.
How You Can Get Involved
There are many ways to make a difference during Hunger Action Month.
VOLUNTEER
Serve alongside ACFS and help provide dependable food support to children and families in our community.
GIVE
Help ensure children and families across Central Alabama have access to the food they need.
COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Come alongside ACFS in helping serve children and families across Central Alabama.
PRAY
Pray for the children and families we serve, the needs of ACFS, and learn more about serving through our Prayer Ministry.

Wear orange and help turn awareness into action.
Hunger Action Day is a day when people across the country come together to show support for hunger relief and take action in their communities. Wear orange, share the message, and help keep the conversation around hunger moving forward.
